Some relationship experts believe age as a number is less important than age as a gauge of experience.
The ideal time to consider marriage is in your late 20s, when many parts of your life begin to make sense and you feel more solid. In a BBC interview, Mrs. Victoria, a pastor who recently married at 57, recounted her grief over her husband's death ten years earlier. When she was fourteen (14) years old, she became engaged and was denied love. As a result of her marriage, the female preacher informed a BBC reporter, her life had become a mess. Her husband was not affluent at the time, but she felt youthful marriage was appropriate. She claimed to be speaking from personal experience rather than a void when she made this claim. When asked how her friends felt about her remarrying at 57, Pastor Victoria said they were doubtful of her decision and questioned her often. "What are you still looking for?" people would ask her. Mrs. Victoria claims she only discovered she wasn't happy till she was affluent. She went on to say that she needed someone who would always be there for her. Unlike the lady who would become her wife, her husband, a preacher, has never married before. Mr. Victoria's first marriage, and he thanks God for having won her love. The female Pastor revealed to her children that she was puzzled by her feelings at the moment. They succeeded, she claims, after she prayed to God for help.
